In 2020 the XIII International Trade Fair "EcoEnergy Expo" which appeared as a result of rebranding of the trade fairs "Energy Efficiency. Renewable energy" and "Industrial Ecology", will be held in the one cluster with the trade shows "Power Engineering for Industry" and "ELECTRO INSTALL".
The rich business program included conferences, workshops, round tables. The events were attended by energy industry experts, government and business representatives, mechanical engineering leaders, representatives of international organizations, relevant public services, industry associations and communities, scientific institutions.
The VI All‑UkrainianPower Engineers Workshop has traditionally brought together the leading experts, executives and engineers of energy companies, industrial enterprises, manufacturers of power generation products, and other energy professionals.
During the workshop, considerable attention was paid to the analysis of the transformation processes occurring in the electricity market, reliability of the power system functioning and ways of its provision, construction of a long‑term balance of power capacities, introduction of energy‑saving technologies in the fields of electricity production and transmission, which influence the competitiveness of existing power facilities.
It was about the problems and challenges that the participants of the new electricity market faced in ensuring the reliable operation of the Ukrainian UES, maintaining the parameters of electricity within the specified limits, as well as the stable functioning of the electricity market and termination of unprofitable work in certain segments of it.
Nuclear Power Day the main topic of which was the conference "Nuclear Power in the Transformation Period" traditionally gathered sector experts and professionals at the IEC. The President of Energoatom Yuriy Nedashkovsky set the tone for the strategic panel: "The State and Nuclear Energy: Interaction Vectors for Growing Economy and High Social Standards" and invited panel members to try to identify the formula for interaction: State and Nuclear Energy or State vs Nuclear Energy, together or against, or maybe away?" and find the answer to the question: "What should be done to overcome this pernicious relationship format that is difficult to call interaction at all?"
During the round table "New Electricity Market: Problems and Solutions" under the guidance of NEC Ukrenergo, the issues related to the problems arising in the electricity market, in particular the balancing market and the support services market, the questions on the calculation of commercial data accounting, billing and acts formation were clarified. There was a discussion between market participants and the Transmission System Operator.
