REPORT ON THE RESULTS OF
THE III INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR

On November 6‑8, 2018 at the International Exhibition Centre, the largest exhibition venue in Ukraine, the III International Trade Fair OILGASEXPO '2018 was held.
The organizer ‑ International Exhibition Centre by support of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.
The trade fair was held within the framework of the XVI International Forum "Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: the Present and the Future" co‑located with the XVI International Trade Fair "Power Engineering for Industry '2018" and the III International Trade Fair "Mining Industry Expo '2018" at the overall exhibition area of about 10.000 sq.m.
This integrated event provided its participants and visitors the unparalleled opportunity of demonstrating technologies, equipment and services to a wide range of specialists and discussing ways to reform the interrelated industries.
On November 6 the Forum and trade fairs were ceremonially opened by:
Juliia Pidkomorna, Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine;
Maksym Nemchinov, State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry;
Oleksandr Svetelik, President of the Association "CIGRE‑Ukraine";
Semen Potashnik, Chairman of the Public Council under the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry;
Anatolii Tkachenko, Director General of the International Exhibition Centre Ltd.
and other honorary guests.
This year 101 exhibitors took part in OILGASEXPO of which 22 companies represented Austria, Belarus, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Monaco, USA.
For the first time Ukrgazvydobuvannia JSC which is the largest Ukrainian gas extracting company, presented the latest gas field development equipment.
The Company DENIMEX (USA) which provides a wide range of services for oil & gas industry presented the collective stand with the participation of the following companies: Compass Directional Guidance (USA), Drilling Tools International (USA), Fluid Systems Incorporated (USA), Gotco (USA), Global Tubing, LLC (USA), Hamburg Oil Tools Group (Germany), Reactive Downhole Tools (USA), Tianhe Oil Group (China), Tucker (USA), Ulterra Drilling Techlogies (USA) and Brend‑Vik Ltd. (Ukraine).
Services and equipment for oil and gas wells exploration, drilling, operation were presented by: Beiken International Engineering Co. (China), Bentec GmbH Drilling & Oilfield Systems (Germany), Integrated Engineering Solutions (Kazakhstan), NANYANG CISK PETRO‑MACHINERY СО. (China), FIDMASH CJSC (Belorus), Drill Collars and Kellys Plant SE (Ukraine), RTE Burova Technika LLC (Ukraine), Torgindustriya LLC (Ukraine), Ukrneftegazservice LLC (Ukraine), BTF‑Coltubing LLC (Ukraine), NOV Fidmash (Belarus), Intermineralbuilding Ltd. (Ukraine), IVK ENERGY LLC (Ukraine), Service Oil LLC (Ukraine), Ukrainian Service Drilling Company ‑ 1 LLC and others.
The largest Ukrainian enterprises offered to the visitors' attention compressor stations, gas‑pumping and gas turbine units, unique types of chemical equipment, centrifuges, pump, pneumatic, heat‑exchange equipment, hydraulic tools and many other products. Among them there were Zorya‑Mashproekt Gas Turbine RDC State Owned, Motor Sich JSC, Nasosenergomash Sumy Plant, Dalgakiran Compressor Ukraine LLC, INTECH SA LLC, Severodonetsk Plant of Chemical Unstandardized Equipment LLC, Ekvives LLC, Sensi LLC, OPEKS Energysystems LLC, Technika LLC, Compressors International LLC and others.
Saturated with samples of pipes, pipeline elements, fountain and shut‑off control valves there were booths of voestalpine Tubulars GmbH & Co KG (Austria), ABO Valve s.r.o. (Czech Republic), Concern SoyuzEnergo, Artezia PE, Konotop Valves Plant JSC, Kyiv Central Design Bureau of Valves JSC, TPBS (TMM‑Energobud Management), Techprilad Eng. LLC, Emerald‑Technique LLC, Komplekt‑Liga LLC, Mira Multidisciplinary Firm LLC, Prom UA Group TD LLC, Patriya LLC and others.
Also a number of companies provided devices, technologies and materials for repair, heating, cleaning and protection of pipes and pipelines: 3X ENGINEERING, Rostok, Active Alliance, Hydroflow Ukraine.
Diagnostics, measuring and automation solutions for the oil & gas industry were presented by Kanex Krohne Anlagen Export GmbH (Germany), Wika Prylad LLC, Manometr‑Kharkiv LLC, Radmirtech LLC, JUMAS, Mercury Trading Company, PROXIS®, Smart‑Mac LLC and others.
Gas and oil refining equipment, lubricants, industrial gases were displayed at the exhibition booths of Gazsurf LLC, YUVENTA Trade Company Ltd., Severodonetsk Plant of Chemical Unstandardized Equipment LLC, Niko Trading LLC, PBM Gas LLC and others.
Such companies as SORTUS UAB (Lithuania), Kyivgaz PJSC, Vent‑Farm, Rubezhtex Ltd., Texica Ltd., AV‑PHARMA PJSC presented various services on distribution of natural gas, equipment for filtration in air conditioning and ventilation systems, protective equipment and overalls.
VD MAIS, Spetsbudkomplekt Ltd., Vertikal Ltd., WM Ukraine LLC, Large Electric Machines Plant LLC, Eaton Electric, LAPP UKRAINE LTD, NKEMZ, Research and Production Enterprise, Kharkiv Electric Machine‑Building Plant (KhEMZ) LLC offered power, electrical products and explosion‑proof equipment for oil&gas industry.
Scientific and research, educational potential of the sector was presented by Poltava National Technical Yuriy Kondratyuk University, Ivano Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Naukanaftogaz Scientific‑Research Institute of Oil and Gas Industry of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC, S. P. Timoshenko Institute of Mechanics, Drohobych Petroleum and Gas College.
THE TOTAL NUMBER OF TRADE VISITORS AMOUNTED TO 7.000 PERSONS FROM 40 COUNTRIES.
The conference started with the report by Oleg Prokhorenko, the Chairman of Ukrgazvydobuvannia JSC, who noted the positive trends in formation of Ukrainian oil&gas service market and the role of the state company in that process.
The conference gathered more than 300 participants (from 60 companies) who discussed new technologies for well drilling and workover, development and modernization of oil and gas enterprises, drilling services and the effect of production processes on the environment.
Among the main participants were Ukrgazvydobuvannia, Ukrnafta, DTEK Oil&Gas, NOV‑Fidmash, Weatherford Ukraine and others.
Also the representatives of oil&gas companies from Belarus, Poland, Germany, the USA, Canada and China attended the conference.
The Directorate of Fossil Fuels of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry held a series of round tables:
- Development of Ukrainian oil and gas industry
- Provision of special permits for the use of oil and gas subsoil on a transparent basis
- New ways of opening information in the energy sector of Ukraine
- Development of innovations in the sector of hydrocarbon extraction
The events were devoted to investment opportunities and stimulating factors of Ukrainian oil & gas industry development, optimization of procedures for granting rights to subsoil use on a transparent and non‑discriminatory basis, implementation of the Law on increasing the transparency of extractive industries and other issues.
Traditionally Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC held the business event aimed at consideration of issues related to natural gas accounting.
More than 140 specialists of oil and gas companies and organizations, enterprises of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, manufacturers of measuring equipment, educational and research institutions, design organizations participated in the round table "Instrument Natural Gas Measurement Innovations and Metrology".
A number of fundamental innovations implemented in the Ukrainian natural gas accounting system was mentioned at the round table.
