REPORT ON THE RESULTS OF THE
VI INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR
MINING & MINERALS EXPO ‑ 2021
On October 19-21, 2021, the VI International Trade Fair "Mining & Minerals Expo - 2021" took place at the International Exhibition Center in Kyiv, co‑joint with "OilGasExpo", "Power Engineering for Industry", "Electro Install", "EcoEnergy Expo", "E-comps+DigiTec" trade fairs.
A total of 189 companies from 15 countries took part in the event. The total exhibition space amounted to about 9000 sq.m. The trade fairs were attended by more than 8,000 trade visitors from Ukraine and 31 countries.
This year's trade fair reflected the general trend for industrial digitalization, many exhibitors presented modern solutions in the field of communication technologies, data networks, "smart" power supply systems, industrial lighting, along with drive, conveyor, engineering products and systems.
This year, for the third time within 6 years of holding the Mining & Minerals Expo, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic (MRO) has presented a joint exhibition stand of Czech mining equipment manufacturers. During the trade fair days, the stand was visited by the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Karel Havlíček, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Ukraine Radek Matula, other honored guests.
Mr. Karel Havlíček shared his impressions of the trade fair: “Mining & Minerals Expo 2021 in Kyiv. For our exhibitors within MPO, we have prepared a joint exhibition stand The Country for The Future in national colors. Today we have visited the trade fair, our territory is fully used, the stand is active, companies are concluding contracts".
Executive Director of the CDT Association, Jiří Šařec, commented on the fair as follows: "We participated in the MINING INDUSTRY EXPO fair (the trade fair name till 2019 - IEC remark) in Kyiv for the third time in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade; after 2017 and 2018, we tried a fair with a similar focus in Zaporozhye in 2019, and this year we returned to Kyiv after a coronavirus outage. I must state that the fair exceeded our expectations, many contracts were negotiated. I would especially like to thank the representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade both for the inclusion of this fair in the supported participations and for the great organization, which was not entirely simple due to time constraints" (published at MPO web site).
International Exhibition Center expresses its sincere gratitude to the participants, partners, guests for their support and active participation in the VI International Trade Fair "Mining & Minerals Expo - 2021".
