Regarding patronage of the Forum
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine is grateful for the invitation to participate in the opening ceremony and organization of the Business Forum, which is to take place from 10 to 12 November 2020, sent to the Ministry by letter dated 18.09.2020 № 114‑01 / E.
The Ministry welcomes and supports the updates, which reflect the changes that significantly affect the evolution of the fuel and energy sector and which are to be implemented this year in the title of the International Energy Business Forum "5E" (Energy. Electrical engineering. Energy efficiency. Ecology. Energy resources.), as well as in expanding the complex of international trade fairs and, in particular, creating a new exhibition project of renewable energy, energy efficiency and ecology - "EcoEnergy Expo".
We are convinced that the forum will carry on traditions of the previous years' event and promote exchange of experiences, elaboration of a common vision for development of the fuel and energy sector in modern conditions and with regard to the priorities of energy efficiency and environmental protection.
The Ministry of Energy has informed the companies under the Ministry's corporate government about the event and the opportunity of taking part in it.
Ministry's senior officials will take part in the opening ceremony of the Business Forum and international trade fairs, about which it will be additionally informed.

GENERAL REGULATIONS
1. Participation conditions
The participation in Exhibition is regulated by the following documents:
- Application‑Contract with appendixes
- General regulations
All appendixes and general regulations are an integral part of this Application‑Contract.
Exhibitor is required to return to Organizer duly completed and signed Application‑Contract including all necessary appendixes. Assignment of signed Application‑Contract implies that the Exhibitor accepts the present general regulations. Application‑Contract is accepted by Organizer not later than 1 month before the opening of Exhibition. Application‑Contracts received after terms indicated above will be considered, if the free exhibition space would be available.
2. Participation fees and costs
The payment of all participation fees and costs is made by Exhibitor according to the clauses outlined above (as per prices listed in the price‑list №1):
2.1. registration fee:
organization work; publication of catalogue entry information and 2 copies of catalogues; 3 exhibitor’s badges, 20 invitation‑tickets.
2.2. shell scheme booth:
raw space; partition walls; fascia with company name (not more than 15 symbols in standard type); 220V single phase 1kWt socket; 2 spot lights; 1 table; 2 chairs; 1 waste basket, carpet, coat‑hunger.
Minimum exhibition space – 9 sq.m. All other exhibition equipment and services are provided for extra charge (see the price‑list №2).
2.3. raw space:
Proper raw space. Minimum exhibition space – 15 sq.m. In case of individual stand construction the company, which fulfills the construction, is obliged to pass the accreditation in the corresponding structures of the IEC.
3. Cost of external participation
The cost of external participation includes such services as: publication of catalogue entry information, 1 exhibitor’s badge, display and distribution of printed advertising materials on general information counter.
4. Method of payment
After receipt of completed and signed Application‑Contract, Organizer invoiced to Exhibitor. Invoice should be paid by Exhibitor according to p. 5 of the Application‑Contract.
5. Penalty
In case the Exhibitor violates the terms of payment specified in the Application‑Contract, the Exhibitor pays to the organizer the fee in the amount of double rate of National Bank of Ukraine for the date of the payment per each day of delinquency.
Refuse either of part or whole of exhibition space may be done by giving notice in the written form to the Organizer not later than 2 months (60 days) before the opening of Exhibition. If the notice is given after the terms indicated above, Exhibitor would be responsible for paying penalty at the rate 100% of the total Application‑Contract amount.
6. Exhibition electronic catalogue
The catalogue entry (printed and electronic version) should be forwarded to Organizer in English not later than 1 month before the opening of Exhibition. The following information is required: company name, phone number (including zip code), fax number, e-mail, not more than 360 symbols of text. Additional text and advertising are paid for extra charge as per prices listed in the price‑list №1. Advertising in catalogue is required to provide by Exhibitor the make‑up page in electronic and printed version.
7. Exhibition's open hours and security
Trade fair open hours: November 10‑11: from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; November 12: from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Organizer provides general security service of Exhibition‑site during the working hours (November 10‑11: from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; November 12: from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). The safety of exposition while working hours is the responsibility of the Exhibitor. Organizer is responsible for the safety of exposition in closing hours and night hours (from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. of the next day). Organizer recommends Exhibitor to insure its property against all risks. Exhibitor is responsible for observance of fire safety rules.
8. Cleaning
Organizer will provide cleaning of the aisles. According to the written Exhibitor’s application, cleaning of his own area is carried out for extra charge as per prices listed in the price‑list №2.

10. Goods delivery and custom formalities
Delivery and custom cleaning of goods are carried out according to the concluded contracts between Exhibitors and specialized companies. 11. Trade
Sale of goods on Exhibition‑site is carried out according to the Ukrainian legislation.
The organizer is not responsible for Exhibitor’s non‑compliance or inappropriate compliance of rules, regulations and requirements regarding trading activity on the basis and in the order defined by the Ukrainian legislation.
Exhibitors are responsible for the violation of the Rules of retail and wholesale trade, rules for the application of cash register equipment in accordance with the laws, regulations, rules and other documents regulating commercial activity in the order defined by the Ukrainian legislation.

POWER ENGINEERING FOR INDUSTRY ‑ 2020

International Exhibition Center expresses its gratitude to the participants, partners, speakers and guests for their support and active participation in the XVIII International Trade Fair "Power Engineering for Industry ‑ 2020", which took place on November 10‑12 at the largest exhibition grounds of Ukraine simultaneously with "Electro Install", "EcoEnergy Expo", "OilGasExpo", "Mining & Minerals Expo" trade fairs. The events were held within the framework of the International Energy Business Forum "5E".

Despite the 2020 quarantine restrictions, the annual tradition of holding the most important for the professional community industry event has not been broken. During the 18 years of its formation and development, the trade fair "Power Engineering for Industry" has always overcome negative crisis circumstances, took place on schedule, gathered the active professional business community on a single platform. Today the event has the status of the largest industry event in Ukraine, the main meeting place of the engineering and energy business elite and scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, professionals working in the field of power and electrical engineering.
This year, more than ever, experts have an urgent need to get answers to many difficult questions regarding the neutralization of crisis situations in the energy sector, improving the efficiency and reliability of the power system, stabilizing industrial production in various industries. Thanking to the leading companies that did not panic, did not retreat before the coronavirus crisis, the 2020 events have taken place and introduced high‑tech products to its' visitors. 114 companies at the total exhibition area of over 7,200 sq.m took part in the events.
On November 10, the opening ceremony of the XVIII International Energy Business Forum "5E" and the International Trade Fairs "Power Engineering for Industry", "Electro Install", "EcoEnergy Expo", "OilGasExpo", "Mining & Minerals Expo" was attended by:
- State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine Volodymyr Bondarenko,
- Acting Head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine Kostiantyn Hura,
- President of the International Council on Large Electric Systems CIGRE in Ukraine Oleksandr Svetelik,
- General Director of the International Exhibition Center Anatoliy Tkachenko,
- General Director of Voltline company / ABB in Ukraine Oleksii Vargatiuk,
- Deputy Director of the Industry Department of Schneider Electric Ukraine Serhiy Bazhenov.
State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy Volodymyr Bondarenko conveyed congratulations to the participants and guests of the event from Acting Minister of Energy Olga Buslavets and stressed the importance of the Forum for launching and continuing business partnerships to attract investment in the energy sector. Volodymyr Bondarenko also stressed: "The Ministry has been working on one of the national strategic directions - integration into the European energy system ENTSO‑E, we have been working on the concept of implementation of Smart Grids. We have been developing transparent and clear rules for every participant, investor in the energy market so that, after emerging from the crisis, we can breathe fresh air and know that we have a future ‑ the future of the energy‑independent state of Ukraine".
During his speech on the occasion of the events opening Acting Head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine Kostiantyn Hura noted: "Green Course mobilizes the state's efforts to develop low‑carbon energy industry, energy efficiency and at the same time a competitive economy. IFC estimates that the clean energy and energy efficiency sector can attract up to € 70 billion investments in 2030. This is a huge amount of money for economic growth". Acting Head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency also reminded that about € 7 billion have been attracted in these areas over the past 6 years.
Oleksandr Svetelik, President of the International Council on Large Electric Systems CIGRE in Ukraine, said: "This Forum is a basic platform for the introduction of new technologies, for consideration of a new concept of energy sector development in our country… We hope that the next year this situation will stabilize and we shall be able to hold a premier large‑scale event with a meeting of all power engineers, with the invitation of our esteemed colleagues from other countries".
The trade fair "Power Engineering for Industry" is held within one cluster with the exhibition projects "Electro Install", "EcoEnergy Expo". The synergy of sectoral measures forms a holistic view of the market situation in power and electrical engineering and identifies technological trends for all parts of the energy chain ‑ from energy sources to electricity consumption.
The trade fair participants, despite all the 2020 difficulties and challenges, presented a wide range of products that can ensure high efficiency, quality and reliability of electricity supply, reduce the load on the electricity grid, optimize energy consumption. It is a pleasure to note the huge contribution of the participating companies to the organization of their own expositions and active participation in the work of the trade fairs.
Such companies lay the foundation for the renewal and future growth of the Ukrainian economy. According to them, today, among the means of marketing communications, trade fair participation is the most successful opportunity to find new and, most importantly, retain existing customers, strengthen relationships with partners, demonstrate stability and reliability to the market participants.
The program of the International Energy Business Forum "5E" included round table "Cybersecurity of the energy sector ‑ current issues and modern solutions" organized by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, conference "Environmental Business Advocacy" dedicated to waste management, state environmental control, environmental finance (eco‑tax), presentations and speeches by exhibitors.
In 2020, IEC paid special attention to the measures on preventing spread of infections and ensure the health and safety protection of exhibitors and visitors. We hope that this year's quarantine restrictions will pass away, and trade fairs will renew their work in full force and become again a center of business activity.
