Dear exhibitors and visitors of the Protection Technologies/FireTech International Exhibition!

Unfortunately, we have to inform you that this exhibition will not take place within the previously announced dates, namely October 13-16, 2020.

This decision was made on September 25, 2020 at the meeting of the representatives of the executive authorities, heads of enterprises, institutions, organizations of the aerospace, defense and security sectors that took place at the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine. More details regarding the text of the decision you may find below.

As a result of the meeting, it was proposed to develop the strategy of postponement of the Arms and Security International Exhibition to May 2021.

The mentioned letter refers to the exhibitions Arms and Security and Aviasvit-XXI, but the exhibitions Expert Security and Protection Technologies/FireTech are held concurrently with the above exhibitions, making a single large exhibition event, which gives an opportunity to explore all the new trends of the security and defense market. That is why we decided not to hold these two exhibitions separately, because we have a common audience, which gives a unique opportunity for participants to show their products to the widest possible range of potential customers.

For our part, we would like to assure you that this decision is the same surprise for us as it is for you, given the previous decision of the Interdepartmental Commission of Military‑Technical Cooperation and Export Control of September 14, 2020 regarding the advisability of holding the exhibition in the previously announced dates. All preparatory work was at the final stage, we were on alert, and at this time mass business and entertainment events, including exhibitions, are being held throughout Ukraine, starting from July.

We hope for your understanding and suggest that you make adjustments to your schedules and we will meet at the same site, but at different time.

We would also like to emphasize: if you already have a ticket, you do not need to take any additional actions. After the new dates of the event are set, all tickets will be automatically reissued and re-sent to your email address.

Letter from the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine
