CHANGE HISTORY
The history of the International Energy Business Forum "5E" began in 2003. Over the years, the forum has gained more and more importance and authority, but there were times when economic, political and pandemic crises affected the exhibition activities and the results of the event. However, we always stood firm, did not change our obligations to partners, exhibitors and visitors of the Forum "5E" and held the event every year. The exception was 2022 ‑ that year was the first time the event was canceled due to the full‑scale invasion of Ukraine by the russian federation.
Over the years, the 5E Forum has been filled with new content and new meaning, reflecting the trends in the development and functioning of the domestic energy system. New technological and technical changes in the sector of energy production, transformation, supply and consumption defined the concept for creating new exhibition projects.

The idea of holding of NEWthe First International Forum "Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: the Present and the Future" (hereinafter referred to as the Fuel and Energy Complex Forum) and NEWthe International Trade Fair "Power Engineering for Industry" appeared during preparations for the Executive Assembly of the World Energy Council in the territory of the International Exhibition Center. In September 2003, 344 delegates from 65 countries of the world arrived at the Assembly. |

The success of the first Fuel and Energy Complex Forum, its importance and relevance led to the Government's decision to organize the annual International Forum "Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: the Present and the Future". Thus, since 2004, the Fuel and Energy Industry Forum has been held in accordance with the orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (from 2004 to 2019). |

NEWThe All‑Ukrainian Seminar of Power Engineers was launched within the framework of the business program of the Fuel and Energy Complex Forum. The topic of the event was focused on deepening the professional and technical knowledge of professionals, exchanging practical experience and best practices in the sector of power and electrical engineering. |

Thematic sections of the exhibition "Power Engineering for Industry" have developed into independent projects in terms of the number of exhibitors and exhibition area. NEWKyiv Oil and Gas Conference "Drilling. Intensification. Ecology and Occupational Safety" was held for the first time and is held annually as part of the business program of the Fuel and Energy Complex Forum. |

NEWInternational Energy Business Forum "5E" is rebranding of the Fuel and Energy Complex Forum (hereinafter referred to as 5E Forum). NEWThe International Trade Fair "EcoEnergy Expo" was held for the first time as part of the 5E Forum ‑ the rebranding of the exhibition "Energy Efficiency. Renewable Energy", which was held by the IEC in 2010‑2019. NEWThe International Congress of Power Engineers is a rebranding of the All‑Ukrainian Seminar of Power Engineers which was held in connection with the scaling of the event, discussion of a wide range of issues in the sector of energy, and the involvement of foreign partners. |
