REPORT ON THE RESULTS OF THE
IV INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR
MINING & MINERALS EXPO ‑ 2019

On November 5‑7, 2019 in Kyiv at the International Exhibition Center took place the main in Ukraine event for equipment and technologies of the mining and coal industry ‑ the IV International Trade Fair MINING & MINERALS EXPO ‑ 2019, which is held annually within the International Forum "Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: the Present and the Future".

Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ukraine Melinda Simmons, Deputy Minister of Energy and Environment of Ukraine Stanislav Kovalevsky, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Coal Industry of the Committee on Energy, Housing and Utility Services of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mykhaylo Bondar, other honored guests attended the opening ceremony of the forum and the trade fair.

Welcoming the participants, Stanislav Kovalevsky emphasized the importance of the environmental component in the development of the coal industry, the necessity of efficient natural resources management, and said: "Ensuring energy security will be possible partly owing to efficient mining and introduction of new technologies".

This year 109 participants from 12 countries (Austria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine, USA) presented at the trade fair modern mining and mineral processing equipment, drilling tools, hydraulic, conveyor, electrical, ventilation, pumping, compressor equipment, measurement and control instruments, automation components and systems.

The business program included scientific and technical conference "Implementation of the structural restructuring of the public sector of the coal industry of Ukraine". Conference participants presented a number of proposals on ensuring steady operation of the Ukrainian coal mines, shared their experience in equipment modernization, considered the environmental aspect of the coal mining industry.

Co‑located with MINING & MINERALS EXPO ‑ 2019 at a total area of 12,000 sq. m. took place international trade fairs Power Engineering for Industry, OilGasExpo, Electro Install. Altogether, 9113 professional visitors were registered during the event days.
