The International Exhibition Centre (IEC) has equipped civil defense shelters throughout the complex with everything necessary, including a fire safety system, autonomous power supply, and drinking water reserves.
Procedures to Follow at the Exhibition in the Event of an Air Raid Alert
During exhibition events at the International Exhibition Centre, an established procedure is in place in the event of an "Air Raid Alert".
The procedure depends on the designated level of the air threat ‑ yellow or red.
In the event of an air raid alert at the IEC, the public address system will be activated:

Yellow Threat Level
The exhibition continues as normal.
The Organizer provides access to the shelter and information about its location and recommended routes to reach it.
Participants and visitors independently decide whether they need to proceed to the shelter.

Red Threat Level
For the duration of the Red Threat Level, the exhibition is suspended.
All participants and visitors must leave the exhibition area and proceed to the shelter using the designated routes.
Please carefully follow the announcements from the Organizer and comply with the recommendations and instructions provided.
Where Are the Shelters Located at the IEC?
Civil defence shelters are located throughout the IEC premises:
Pavilion 1 ‑ Entrances 1A and 1C
Pavilion 2 ‑ Entrance 2A
Pavilion 3 ‑ Entrance 3С
Upon arriving at the exhibition, please take note in advance of the location of the nearest shelter, or save the SHELTER MAP for easy access.
Follow the alerts issued by the IEC warning system and official announcements. We also recommend using the Kyiv Digital app.
Returning After the All-Clear
Exhibitors must return to their stands within 15 minutes after the all‑clear signal, upon presenting their exhibitor badge.
Visitors may enter the exhibition 20 minutes after the all‑clear signal, provided they have a valid visitor badge.
